I know exactly who took the picture; I also know the picture was not photoshopped; I also know the picture is real exactly as you see it. It is not a shot from a video, it was one isolated piece of art with that C&C3 logo thing on it.
How do I know this? Because I was there, as was Brett from starcraft.org (who has already posted here, post 31), as were several other people from gaming and Tolkein communities.
So stop bickering about whether someone is playing a joke, or whether it's photoshopped, or whatever. It's real, exactly as you see it in the picture.

it's a real picture. it was shown at the BFME event sponsored by EA. i believe it was a fan event, not a media event, which is why the big sites haven't gotten wind of it yet. it's also very likely that NDA's were handed out, so nobody is allowed to talk about it.
EA legal has probably put very strict limitations on what can be said about this. in fact it's possible that it wasn't supposed to be leaked out, which is why nobody is divulging details.

ppl face it, the shot IS real, it has been confirmed and aliens have been in C&C since the beginning of story writing. They were always intended to be in the C&C universe. Either you like that or you dislike it, nothing you can do about it, that IS C&C.

The art is -obviously- done by professionals and it is "EA style" (again, very easy to recognize), so this shot has to be real.
the people who are shouting "photoshop" obviously are nubs who think you can fake everything with it.. probably the same people who use gradients and lensflares in every damn picture because it looks "cool"

My friend says Its definatley real. It was showed off at a fansite preview of Battle for Middle Earth. Planetcnc crew was there, and so was Dezire, thats what he talks about in his news post.

Well now that it's out that it was at EA, let me say this: The event was not about C&C3, and no EA employee talked about that picture except to say they couldn't talk about it.
The picture is not part of a video, it's just art.
Those of us who attended the event did not sign an NDA, but that doesn't help anyone here, because you all know exactly what I know - only that the picture exists.
About those curtains... Why wouldn't EA have curtains? The TV in that photo is hanging from the ceiling on the first floor across from the board room. You can see the reflection of the board room's ceiling lights in the window behind the TV.
So everyone, stop wondering if it's real or not; I'll promise you however you want that it's real. It has not been edited or photoshopped.
The picture is not a leak.
The event that has been mentioned is indeed the Battle for Middle-earth Community Day put on by EA. The reason I'll be posting my report in a week is... well... that's how long it'll take me to write it so it's coherent and readable. I'll have pictures of EALA, new info on the SAGE engine, and so forth.

I dont know just how many of you remember, but former community manager Chris Rubyor had said around the time that he had joined the dev team, that there was going to be a "Tiberium future." I figured that this was worth mentioning with the pic of the new game. I believe it is real, partially because its on a really expensive tv, but the tv is mounted in the ceilings, which most people dont have tvs mounted on the wall/ceiling like that at their house, plus, if you look at the bottom, you can see another room, and the lights in the room are more consistant of something that you would see at a convention or hotel than in a persons house.

No audio. Single image, but the TV slideshows EA news bullitens and various pictures, but I don't recall other pictures from/for games that haven't even been started yet. Same quality as the photo.
