Beim Pro:Gen Mod steht:
Pro:Gen For Command & Conquer: Generals
V1.4
Thanks for using Pro:Gen! Theres a couple of important things to note before you install
it - please read this, it aint called 'ReadMe' for nothing
* Pro:Gen is a 'standalone' mod - it wont work in conjunction with any other mods you may
have installed, so remove them before you install it.
* Pro:Gen wont work with special AI enhancements/mods such as RVMECHs 'Almost Human AI'. If
you make use of any maps that use such enhancements, sorry but they wont work with Pro:Gen.
A future update/version will include the code necessary to make these things compatable.
* Pro:Gen is a one-way deal - if you want to play Generals with the Pro:Gen enhancements,
simply install it. When you want to go back to playing Generals normally again, you should
simply uninstall it. Theres no option to enable/disable it between games, but again this
may come in a future update/version. Pro:Gen does not need the '-mod' command line switch
(and for that matter it wont work with it either).
* As a safety measure, you should make a backup of the 'Scripts' folder which can be found
in the Command and Conquer Generals\Data directory. You should restore this backup when you
uninstall Pro:Gen. This isnt absolutely necessary but it will help to prevent any errors
when playing online after you remove the mod.
* Pro:Gen can (optionally) enable the Officers Club features for you. Choose a Custom setup
type to enable these features. DO NOT choose this option if you already have the Officers
Club installed and enabled.
* You can uninstall Pro:Gen or repair a corrupt installation through your computers Control
Panel application at any time.
Good luck General!
