Ich hab einen 450er, Voodoo3 3000 und 128MB RAM. Hatte noch nie Probleme beim Spielen mit 1024x768.
Dürfte also vielleicht wirklich an der Grafikkarte liegen!

Da gebe ich dir in beiden Fällen vollkommen recht! Wie ich schon sagte sind die GeForce Karten bei FSAA nicht so besonders (gelinde ausgedrückt). Da gibt es schon mal, je nach Spiel, Performance Einbrüche von 60% !

Aber zum Thema: Ich glaube ebenfalls das die SP Geschwindigkeit 3 ist. Und in MP Spielen wähle ich die Geschwindigkeit je nach lag-stärke.

Ich sage dazu nur: Celeron 366, 128 Ram und eine TNT2 (Viper V770) rulez.
Ich weiß nicht was ihr habt, mit meiner Hardware läuft alles was ich das nächste halbe Jahr spielen werde. Nämlich Red Alert2 und Half-Life (für Counter-strike). HL läuft bei mir in 1024x768 ohne Probleme und deshalb brauch ich auch nix neues, auch Quake2 und UT laufen problemlos, es muss ja nicht unbedingt immer die beste Auflösung sein.
