P-02 - Bekanntgabe zur E3

Hello everyone,

Since I've not posted in this forum regarding P-02 yet, I thought I would get the ball rolling.

Yes, we are working on a sci-fi / modern RTS game with SEGA. No, I can't tell you its name. ;)

I can't tell you anything specific about the game at this time, but I can tell you this:

It's an RTS first and foremost. Many -- but not all -- trappings of the RTS genre are upheld, but not in the same manner you may be used to them. I leave that open to your interpretation.

Feel free to speculate.
Petroglyph arbeitet bereits seit einiger Zeit an einem zweiten Projekt, was in der Community bislang schlicht 'P-02' genannt wird. SEGA ist der Publisher, es wird ein Sci-Fi/Modern War RTS werden. Weiteres ist bis dato leider immer noch unbekannt. Auf der E3 jetzt in einer Woche soll der Name des Games, erste Inhalte usw veröffentlicht werden.
Man darf also gespannt sein. ;)

Hat zwar bis jetzt wenig mit EAW zu tun, aber die richtung die PG nimt mit Weltraum RTS Games, find ich echt Geil. Da der Markt mit Weltraum und Boden RTS Games nichtg erade Groß ist.

Ich hoffe die werden auch in Zukunft weitere Spiele diese art machen. EAW ist bis auf ein paar mengel zu ziemlich gut geworden.

Ich freue mich schon auf den Bericht der E3 von der PCA.

Sei mir nicht böse aber ich hoffe sehr stark auf ein RTS mit Panzern. ;)
Übrigens ist C&C auch ein Sci-Fi/Modern War RTS. :p

Ja ich meine überhaupt zukunfts orientiert. Das es in letzter zeit entweder A: 2 Weltkrieg oder B: Terroristen Jagen finde ich nicht gerade gut.

Supremcomander ist meine nächste Große hoffnung auf ein Geiles Game mit ausgereiften Balancing.

Gerüchten zufolge könnte sogar mit einem StarCraft 2 oder WarCraft 4 gerechnet werden.

Da schätze ich eher Star Craft 2 als Warcraft 4, schon alleine weil Blizzard für World of Warcraft den Patch 1.11 (und damit die T3 sets) vorstellt. Denke eher das sie noch in eine andere Richtung schlagen als nur auf der Warcraft Schiene fahren - nicht jedem sagt das zu.

Hach Starcraft 2 wär echt cool, auf die Meldung das sie dran Arbeiten wart ich schon seit ich mir Starcraft 1 gekauft hab :rolleyes:

Joe Bostic hat heute wieder etwas über P-02 durchblicken lassen. Sagen darf er garnichts konkretes.... Das Addon für Empire at War wurde aber inzwischen inoffiziell bestätigt von Petroglyph.Actually, if you read through some of my posts from other forums over the years, I've said likely more than I should have about the C&C universe. ;)

Yeah, it's weird having this entire universe you helped create completely out of your hands, so I just hope they do it justice. There's a lot of talented people at EA, so here's to hoping it lives up to its pedigree.

However, back on this topic, we've got our own stuff we're working on now, and as much as I loved C&C, I'm loving this even more. C&C had its baggage, which we tried to lose as best as possible (Firestorm intro, for example!). Our new venture w/ SEGA allows us to not have that freedom to re-invent aspects of the game that would burden us if we had to stick with them.

There's something to be said for not having to support legacy!

Bevor ich jetzt aber nen Thread dazu auf machen warte ich liebe auf einen Bericht von jemanden der vorort war:gf:

Diese E3 wird aber der Hammer schon alleine wegen C&C 3 aber auch wegen Hellgate: London, Huxle, Crysis, Battelfiel2142, !!!Gothic 3!!! und noch einiges mehr. Ich habe noch nie so sehr auf einen E3 Report gelaurt wie dieses Jahr.

P-02 will not be shown at E3. There's lots of great stuff coming for EaW that you'll get to read about and see coming out of E3.

P-02 will have its own official showing at a later date.

It'll be worth the wait. Just my opinion, but there ya go. :D

The game has no title at the moment. Internally we call it Invasion, but we're not using that for release.
Das Game wird ein komplett neues Grafiksystem benutzen als EAW.

was ist eigentlich P-02?

Alles was ich bisher weis ist das es ein Strategispiel ist.

Oder anders gefragt was ist denn schon alles über das Projekt-02 bekannt?
